Asia is the world’s largest and arguably one of the most exciting continents in the world. What it offers is variety and diversity. Asia is split into various sections; Central Asia covers the lesser visited states such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, East Asia covers China, Japan and Korea, North Asia includes Russia, South East Asia includes Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia, South Asia includes Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, and West Asia includes Israel, United Arab Emirates and Jordan. These are only a fraction of the countries that make up Asia.
Research and Choose
Before coming to Asia, you must do some good research and choose on which type of experience you are seeking; or how about travel a few countries in the large continent? Flying to Asia from the United Kingdom will take longer than flying to Europe and generally longer than flying to America. Remember that planning is important – one travel destination or a few? Many travellers take the opportunity to visit Asia as a way of viewing a few countries.
Availabilities and Prices
Some of the popular destinations are Hong Kong, India, Japan, China, Malaysia, and Thailand. However there are several places to pick from; the more well-liked destinations which have regular flights and reasonable prices. The rare destinations have less availability; and thus have higher prices. You can take a flight from any chief UK airport for any Asian destination, with key airlines such as Cathay Pacific, Virgin, British Airways, to name a few etc. Some of the locations may need a change of plane, just ensure if there are any difficulties with a valid British passport; when entering your place of choice.
Check the Climatic Conditions
Asia continent spans almost half-way in the globe, as a result depending on the destination, the weather will differ. You have a mixture of the hottest, driest, wettest, and coldest locations on earth. The central Asia is too far from the coast, hence has extremes of the climate; hot, and dry summers; and cold, and wet winters. Except for on mountainous landscape, a big part of the earth is desert. North Asia climate is very akin to central Asia, but with more amount of rainfall. South Asia climate is too hot, as it is located closer to equator. Normally, there is no winter out here, but has a rainy monsoon season, (like in India, and Thailand). The rainy season lasts from June to October, when the rain is continual and persistent; bothersome for the sun-seeking tourists, but crucial for the local people who depend on the rain for the crops to cultivate.
Giant Continant with Uncountable Destinations
Asia is a huge place and therefore has plenty of things to do, no matter what it is you enjoy. Russia is an incredible country to visit, although it is always wise to stick to the large cities and guided tour holidays. South East Asia is very popular with tourists; visit Malaysia and Thailand if you love beaches, or Hong Kong and Japan if you love technology and to shop. India and Pakistan have frequent flights and have hot weather as well as lots of delicious food to try and famous sights to see.
